If You Are Working Online From Home, What Do You Earn?

If You Are Working Online From Home, What Do You EarnMany people view the opportunity to work online from home as a way to earn cash.

There are a large percentage of those individuals who consider that by simply throwing up a website that they will be made for life.

That this will be the lifeline to escape the drudgery, their lack of money and to achieve the freedom they crave for.

It’s hardly surprising that opportunities on the Internet are viewed this way.

There are so many websites promising wealth, health and freedom, making it appear to be easy to jump a ride on this bandwagon to success.

But what is the one thing that sets apart Internet Marketers who have achieved success to those that haven’t?

What have they earned to set themselves head and shoulders above the rest?

It’s something that can take weeks, months, even years to get. But it can be lost in an instant.

If you thought I was going to suggest the answer is “money”, you’d be wrong.

Sure, money can be the by-product but I’m talking about earning TRUST and RESPECT!

If you don’t earn the trust and respect of your website visitors, your subscribers and your customers, you are setting yourself up for failure in a short space of time.

Of course, earning trust and respect isn’t confined to an online business.

Consider the manager who doesn’t have the respect of their staff. What could be the reasons for this?

  • They lack honesty
  • They lack respect to their customers
  • They lack consistency
  • They lack respect to their staff

I’m sure you can relate to that brief list; I know I can.

And I’m sure you’ve seen examples of this in the online world.

So how do you earn trust and respect in this ever changing world in which we live in? (Thanks Macca, for the quote!)

I don’t believe there is a simple, straightforward answer because everybody is different and interacts differently with each other.

But I think the starting point is by showing respect and trusting others.

Sure, you will come across some who will take advantage of such a giving nature but they will be in the minority.

As long as you are consistent, open and honest in your business, your positive reputation will outshine anything said by that small minority.

You will gain a loyal and trusted group of followers, genuinely interested in listening to what you have to say and, even if they disagree, respecting your point of view.

And it really isn’t difficult to achieve these attributes. If this isn’t you at the moment, change your way of thinking. No one else can do it for you.

It will become second nature to the point that you no longer have to consciously think about showing respect and trusting others.

You will have become a trusting and respectful person.

And there will be rewards, but don’t make that your focus.

Your focus is to become a better “you”.

To become someone you would trust and respect.

Have confidence in yourself and you will achieve.

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
Winston Churchill
